Healthy Harvest Food Bank is a food distribution organization offering comprehensive hunger solutions that target the region’s most vulnerable neighbors. Serving six counties in Virginia’s Northern Neck and Upper Middle Peninsula as the only organization of its kind in the region.
Our core program and basis of our operation consists of delivering food to over 34 partner agencies throughout our distribution area.
Currently serving over 10,450 individuals each month, we provide each individual 20 pounds or 5 days of food, including a minimum of 50% produce.
Hunger DOES NOT discriminate. There are many faces and stories behind the data. It’s often job loss in a poor economy, a health crisis resulting in lost wages or the inability to stretch low wages to cover basic needs, making hunger relief crucial.
